How does a request work?

  1. Send a request: name the country, industry, region, the fields you need (postal address, website, phone, email or a combination) and the intended use.
  2. Check and quote: we check what can be delivered in the combination you want and state the number of records, how current the data are and the price. Only then do you decide whether to order.
  3. Order: after your confirmation we send an invoice. Payment is by bank transfer or another agreed method.
  4. Delivery: you receive the finished CSV or Excel file on the date and by the method agreed in the quote.

In which formats are the data delivered?

As a CSV or Excel file, or JSON on request. All variants contain the same data.

Can I test the data before buying?

The free CSV sample file on the export page contains 30 fictitious businesses and shows the structure. It is not proof of quality for a real selection. The quote confirms scope and available fields.

How long does delivery take?

We confirm the delivery date together with scope, price and the date of the data in the written quote before you order. The quote also states how many records of your selection are in our dataset.

Which fields does a company list contain?

The export can contain company name, address, postcode, nation, business category, industry and the available contact fields (phone, email, website). Legal form, company number, SIC code and company status are only filled in where the record is matched with Companies House; that matching is in progress. Not every business has every field. We confirm required fields and actual coverage for your selection in the quote.

Is there a minimum order?

No. You can request a single industry in a single region. Small requests are as welcome as large ones.

May I use the data for email or telephone marketing?

Within the PECR rules. Limited companies, PLCs and LLPs may receive marketing emails without prior consent if you identify yourself and offer an opt-out; sole traders and partnerships outside Scotland need consent or a soft opt-in. Before sales calls you must screen the numbers against TPS and CTPS. Details: PECR rules for B2B email and calls. You are responsible for your use of the data.

Exporting a whole industry costs £199 to £379 (prices per industry); selections by nation, postcode area or your own filters are quoted on request. Prices shown are the full price – nothing is added.
